As YOU like it!!

Quotes are something that have inspired me,tickled my funny bone, made me face difficult situations with confidence, helped me take life lightly and a lot many other things from my very salad days! So here are some of my favorite quotes:-
  • Don't see others doing better than you.Beat your own records daily because success is a fight between you and yourself.
  • A critic is a legless man who teaches running.
  • Nothing lasts forever. All good things actually come to an end. The friend you trust the most doesn't remain the same way forever, the feeling you get after getting a new job deceases, the sweet days of childhood dies fast, the wonderful feeling of falling in love perishes eventually....nothing truly lasts forever..nothing at all.
  • Why trudge through the sludge or walk through a tangled maze if it's possible to walk around? Happiness can be often increased by avoiding the unnecessary.
  • Finish each day and be done with it.. You have done what you could. Some blenders and absurdities did creep in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow will be a new day. Begin it serenely and too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
  • If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was and it's not meant to be.
  • Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over,it became a butterfly.
  • She will chase you around for a while; but there's gonna be a day when she would stop running in circles around you. She is going to get over you and at that very moment you are going to wish you had let her catch you.

Multi-tasking A.K.A. screwing up everything!

I have always thought of becoming this one person who would be adroit at everything..so it was one of those Sundays while i was returning from my tuition, one of my friends startd askin "heyy u interested in teaching foreign students? dere s dis one site cld tutorvista..where u cud earn thousands !!" And naturally I started feeling wow! I was utterly impressed by her idea as I was actually searching for a tuition(i.e to teach somebody). After reaching home, the first thing I did was logging in to tutorvista.com..even took a test there..passed it and got a reply to sit for an interview! With that reply came some conditions too..."Every tutor will have to teach for atleast 4 hrs." :O :O
First thought-"Ohh thats nuthin! I will manage no matter what!"
A friend calls me up...
Friend-"Do you hv a driving license? they hv askd for it"
Tongue-"No..but college id wud do!"
Mind-"Wat d hell wud dey do wid a driving license? wud i b teaching maths or giving them driving lessons?"
Friend-"U hv ur tuitions too..hw r u going to devote those 4 hrs?"
MIND+TONGUE-"Gosh! I neva thot abt it..shit its neva gonna happen...i need to set my priorities first..GATE is far more important than al dis"

Well if you think that juggling a lot many things can make you a superman, you are wrong!! Multi-tasking can be one hell of a chore to be perfect at though being so very revered in our society. It could be really dangerous as it mostly leads to mediocrity at all the things you are juggling with and excellence at none! It happens to almost everyone of us that we find our keys missing or id cards missing! Havent you ever sent a text message to the wrong person? All this could have happened due to the distractions u were having while you were placing those keys or id cards sumwhere or texting sumone!!
The term "multitasking" originated in the computer engineering industry. It was used to refer the ability of a microprocessor to apparently process several tasks simultaneously. Although it proved to be very efficient for computers, it is a bit too risky for human beings. Focusing and multi-tasking can never be done congruously. When one portion of our brain tries focusing on something, the other pings- "Have u bought mum's bday gift?" or "When will you complete your assignment?" or "When will you write your journal?" etc! This leads to nothing but as they say-

“Multi-tasking - Screwing everything up simultaneously.”

The key is to plan everything beforehand and staying organized. Making a list of the things to do and allocating a certain amount of time to each listed thing can prove to be very beneficial. One can then easily focus on the thing at hand and after successfully completing it can move on to the next! So make that multi-tasking~ planned-tasking and bask in its glory! :)

The Confused Soul

"Need, not greed"- well that's an old adage! But has anyone ever tried to focus on "Greed-management"?? Yes, greed management can be one of the toughest tasks to complete as craving for something doesn't ebb down so easily. The other day a very close friend of mine sent me a link of Nokia X5-01.
Nokia X5-01 resembles a small mirror; a sliding and stylish phone indeed! The moment I saw it I was like "Dude I need a new phone! :O " But where the hell the money would come from? Do i own a "money plant" which when shaken ushers money? NO...I DONT. I am just another face in the crowd who can only woolgather of buying a "Louis Vitton bag"..but can neva actually buy it.

I cannot fathom the fact that why money is of such prime importance in our society.Or is it just my very own perspective? This reminds me of the super-flop movie title " Money hai to Honey hai." Its high time for us to realise that money can never be the ultimate source of joie de vivre in the world; there are things far more important than that. Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Bill Gates...these big-name tycoons have reached the pinnacle with things far more important than money.

"Its the road of acclivity and not the ultimate destination that really matters...."

Abandoned...

Have you ever felt lonely? This is one amongst the worst feelings one could ever feel. I dont understand why does this happen to me always! I hate these ATMs...i dont know may be because i am very bad at handling ATM cards.I failed to withdraw 5000 bucks from my account today, just because of the reason that i didn't take the money as as soon as it came out from the machine and waited for 1 minute..and within which the money went back to the machine! I feel terrible right now. I wish i had a little genie who could bring back my money. I feel so lonely and depressed. I have my internal exams from Monday..but i am in no mood to study for them. I feel like running away from here to some place which is peaceful and where I can live whichever wayI want to. This pain is getting deeper..wish there was somebody in my life to support me,to help me move on.

ohk..here i am..to set the ball rolling!! yaa...finally ready to start blogging. There is no particular reason behind this..i just felt like doin this. Conjecture..do u know wat exactly this means?.Well..a "guess".."something wich u believe in..but doesnt hv a logic".."to believe on tentative grounds" etc etc. I dont know y i gave this title...i really dont know..probably because nothing else came to my mind! Neways..it is high tym i should stop probing on these matters!! Have u heard dt an eighteen year old boy has been found in the Atari border! This boy is reportedly from Pakistan and he confessed dt he ws being trained in pakistan for attacking India!! It is a matter of shame for pakistan...an eighteen year old boy is supposed to be studyin in a college...and not attacking other countries. And then there is our very own Sania Mirza who has said that she will stop playing after she gets married to Sohrab Mirza. I really dont understand why she has taken such a decision..she is d pride of India..and she should continue playing for India. Thirdly, a replica of Eiffel Tower is going to be built up in our very own Pondicherry..it is basically for boosting our tourism. For this i will say, India needs to set her priorites first...helping the people under the poverty line should be prioritized before bulding a replica of a famous structure. Neways..I will put an end to this blog here...will blog more tommorrow.Buh-Bye!! :)
